Joel: “I am so #GratefulforPikePlace because I got to relive some of my favorite memories this past year with my big sister in the Market. I did not grow up in the PNW, and I’d actually never been to the Market with my sister before.
We grew up in New England, and some of our fondest memories are of us together on summer vacation in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The market is so many wonderful things to so many people and so many wonderful, different things to me.
While I’m grateful for the fresh vegetables, history, original crafts by unique artisans, social supports, and food food food, I’m currently just so grateful that being in the Market reminds me of being 10 years old at my favorite vacation destination. And I’m grateful that I get to share that with the people I love.
My current favorite vacation destination? The Market across the street.”
