Giving Tree

Pike Place Market Foundation

Care for the needs of our neighbors at Pike Place Market this holiday season

With a network of social services and housing throughout the historic district, the Market is a community that cares for seniors, families, workers and neighbors in downtown Seattle.

This winter, the Pike Place Market Foundation is mobilizing our community to provide warm winter items and holiday gifts. Get involved by donating a gift, gift card or make a donation and leave the shopping to us! Our goal is to collect and distribute over 1,000 gifts to care for our community.

How can I give?
There are four different ways to get involved:

  1. Choose a gift tag from the Giving Tree, shop, and deliver gifts to DeLaurenti Food & Wine (1st Ave and Pike Street) from 10 am – 4 pm by Monday December 20th
  2. Purchase and deliver gifts using our Amazon Wish List.
  3. Donate gift cards for groceries or home goods (Target, Safeway, Fred Meyer) in the $25 -$100 range. Gift cards are an important way to give our community greater choice and the ability to independently shop for their needs.
  4. Make a donation directly to the Market Foundation, and we’ll do the shopping!

What is a Giving Tree?
The Giving Tree is a great way to help care for the needs of our neighbors during the holiday season. The tree is decorated with personalized tags that contain wishes from Pike Place Market seniors, preschoolers, and residents. You pick a tag, purchase the present described on the back, and return it to the Market!

Where can I find the in-Market Giving Tree?
This year, the Giving Tree at Pike Place Market is a beautiful mural next to Rotary Grocery!

Directions: From the Market Clock & Sign, walk into the main arcade head right look up and you will see a sign for “Rotary Grocery” follow it to the left, the mural is just around the corner.

Where do I deliver my gift or my gift card?
Once you have purchased the gift listed on your tag,  you can deliver it (unwrapped) to DeLaurenti Food and Wine Shop on 1st Ave & Pike Street (drop off seven days a week from 10 am – 4 pm).

Gift cards can also be mailed! You can send your gift card to 1901 Western Ave, Ste 100 Seattle, WA 98101. Please return your gift unwrapped and before Monday, December 20th.
