Sunset Supper is almost here!
Please see below the message from Board Chair, Kirsten Anderson, regarding the cancellation of Sunset Supper due to safety precautions. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and we’re genuinely disappointed we couldn’t make it work.

Dear Market Foundation Volunteers,
We regret to share Sunset Supper, scheduled for this Friday, Aug. 15, is cancelled due to worsening weather conditions. Forecasts call for storm conditions and high winds during the event, making it unsafe to proceed.
Sunset Supper is one of our most beloved celebrations of Pike Place Market and this was a difficult decision to make. However, the safety our guests, vendors, volunteers and staff is our highest priority. Much of the event is tented, and high winds make their use unsafe. The unique infrastructure of our 118-year-old market also limits our ability to create workable alternatives in this situation.
Please stay tuned for future announcements about ways we can come together to celebrate the Market community.
