Event Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear?
- Attire is cocktail party casual and weather appropriate. Sunset Supper takes place in ALL weather events. You will also be moving about on 118-year-old cobblestone – high heels are not recommended!
I did not get my Patron wristbands in advance. Where do I go?
- The Patron Will Call booth will be near the Main Entrance at Pike and Pine (on the corner next to Beecher’s Cheese); event staff and volunteers will help you with check-in and wristband distribution.
- The booth will be open from 5PM to 8PM; please note that the booth gets very busy just before the 7:00PM Patron entrance time and we thank you for your patience
- IMPORTANT: If you are hosting a table and picking wristbands up for everyone at the event, you agree to take responsibility for the distribution of them; Please inform your guests of your meeting spot ahead of time so that we can limit guest and volunteer confusion at the Will Call booth
What else do I need to bring with me?
- If you are not utilizing the Patron Will Call booth, please remember to bring your wristband with you. Replacements will not be issued.
- All guests must be 21 years or older with a valid ID. Please do not forget to bring your ID! You will be asked to present it before entering the event.
What if myself or one of my guests do not feel well?
- If you’ve been sick or exposed to someone with COVID-19, please follow WA State Guidelines: https://doh.wa.gov/emergencies/covid-19/prevent-spreading-respiratory-viruses#takesteps
- If you can, please contact us before August 15 to reassign your tickets to a friend. Unused tickets will not be transferable to a future Sunset Supper.
What if the event is cancelled?
- We will make every effort to avoid cancelling Sunset Supper unless an extreme emergency or weather event, such as wildfire smoke, occurs. Sunset Supper happens rain or shine. In the event of cancellation, tickets will not be refunded or transferable to a future event. At its core, Sunset Supper is more than a party – it is a fundraiser for the Market community that raises critical support to ensure our community members remain healthy, stable and housed.
Where do I enter the event?
- Main Entrance – Pine Street & Pike Place (Patron Will Call located here, if picking up wristbands at the event)
