Sunset Supper at Pike Place Market is Seattle’s most anticipated summer event celebrating the 117th anniversary of Pike Place Market. Pike Place Market is magically transformed into a party venue where you will sip and sample your way through more than 100 of the region’s best restaurants, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and more!  Don’t forget to visit our Pike Place Market Crafters who will be selling in the Market’s Arcade during the event!  

This year’s celebration takes place on August 16. Please arrive on time to enjoy all this event has to offer! As a reminder, here are important event times: 

• 7:00 pm – Sunset Supper admission gates open for Patron guests only – that’s you!
• 7:30 pm – Sunset Supper admission gates open for General Admission guests 
• 11:00 pm – Sunset Supper ends

Guest Names & Patron Packets

• Guest lists (names and emails) are due by Friday, August 2 to jenns@pikeplacemarketfoundation.org.  Guest names are necessary for Patron tent guest lists and the Will Call booth if you or your guests are picking up wristbands and parking validation at the event.  You can also provide guest names online here.
• Patron Packets will be available starting Friday, July 12 – Packets include wristbands, parking validation passes and quick event reminders. Please share this information with your guest(s) – thank you! 
• Please note that tickets cannot be refunded or transferred to a future Sunset Supper event.

Event Frequently Asked Questions 

What do I wear?

• Dress is cocktail party casual and weather appropriate. Sunset Supper takes place in ALL weather events. You will also be moving about on 117-year-old cobblestone – high heels are not recommended!  

I did not get my Patron wristbands and parking in advance. Where do I go?  

• The Patron Will Call booth will be near the Main Entrance at Pike and Pine (on the corner next to Beecher’s Cheese); event staff and volunteers will help check in and wristband/parking distribution.  
• The booth will be open from 5PM to 8PM; please note that the booth gets very busy just before the 7:00PM Patron entrance time and we thank you for your patience.

What else do I need to bring with me? 

• If you are not utilizing the Patron Will Call booth, please remember to bring your wristband and parking validation pass with you. Replacements will not be issued. 
• All guests must be 21 years or older with a valid ID. Please do not forget to bring your ID! You will be asked to present it before entering the event.  

What if myself or one of my guests do not feel well? 

• If you’ve been sick or exposed to someone with COVID-19, please follow WA State Guidelines: https://doh.wa.gov/emergencies/covid-19/prevent-spreading-respiratory-viruses#takesteps 

Where do I enter the event? 

• Main Entrance – Pine Street & Pike Place (Patron Will Call located here, if picking up wristbands at the event) 
• North Entrance – Virginia Street & Pike Place (recommended entrance for Patron Mix and Mingle guests) 
• MarketFront Entrance accessible from the Pike Place Market Parking Garage Elevator – Floor 3 (recommended entrance for MarketFront Patron guests and those with accessibility or mobility challenges)  

How will I know what tent I’m in? 

• Tent and table locations will be emailed to Patron table/ticket buyers the week prior to the event. As a reminder, Patron guests receive reserved seating and wine service in their tent.  
• New in 2024: Mix and Mingle Patron guests will have access to open/non-reserved bistro tables with stools in assigned tents on the North end of Pike Place.   

Transit and Parking 

• Taking mass transit or an Uber/Lyft to and from the celebration is highly recommended.
• If needed, parking validation passes will be distributed with wristband(s) in your Patron Packet. Parking is located at the Public Market Parking Garage. Enter at the 1531 Western Avenue or 1901 Western Ave entrance. Details and directions can be found here: http://pikeplacemarket.org/directions-parking 
  • If you need an accessible parking space, we recommend parking near the elevators in the 1901 Western Ave garage and taking the elevator to the 3rd level for the MarketFront.
  • When arriving, take a garage ticket and keep it with you. A lost ticket cannot be replaced by your Sunset Supper parking validation pass, and you will incur a $30 charge.
  • As a reminder, guests driving in may not be able to access the garage from Alaskan Way due to ongoing Waterfront construction.
• Use your pass as you exit the garage. Insert your garage ticket into one of the pay kiosks or at the exit; when the amount due appears, insert your parking pass. Passes are valid 8/16/24 only.
