Help us ensure that the Market community continues to have the resources they need to live healthy and happily. We collect much-needed supplies all year around – see below on how you, your friends and colleagues, or your community/organization can come together throughout the year for the Market!
Questions about our collection drives or want to get involved? Contact Lexie Rodriguez at 206-774-5238 or at her email here!
Spring Hygiene Drive (March – May)
Help us collect essential hygiene items to make the lives of our Market neighbors a little brighter. Donations of new and unused bathing and beauty supplies are collected throughout the spring for the community.
Off to Preschool Drive (August)
Support the young minds of the Market community with a donation to our Off to Preschool Drive! As the new school year approaches, we’ll need your help in ensuring the next generation of the Market community is ready for Preschool. Through your donation of new and unused school supplies, art materials and high protein snacks, our Preschool students and their families will start their school year with a big smile on their face!
Giving Tree Drive (November/December)
Brighten someone’s holiday season by participating in our annual Giving Tree! Make a meaningful impact and give a special present to our seniors, families and community members.
The Giving Tree is the perfect opportunity for you to give back in a very tangible way this holiday season. You can also participate by donating for our Winter Wear drive and help us collect new and unused warm hats, scarves, gloves, socks, and more for the community.
If you have a group or organization that is interested in planning a collection drive outside of these time frames please let us know!
We are happy to coordinate an event or project with you. Some examples of items that are useful for our community all year long are Food Drives and No-Cook Bag Creation (non-perishable ready to eat foods). Email email@example.com for more information on coordinating your own drive for the Market community.
