Original Pike Place Beam Box
This box is made from one of the original beams from the Pike Place Market. It was holding up the Sanitary Market Building for over 100 years and from a tree that was probably 1000 years old. Use business card for sizing. There is a brass plate under the lid of the larger one labeling the beam.
These have sold but I am always working with this wood. I can email you pictures of what I presently have.
The box is lined inside and on the bottom with leather, and given an oil finish. They should stay dry and out of the direct sun.
