One lucky winner and a guest will receive a roundtrip ticket on Alaska Airlines flight to Seoul, South Korea on Friday, September 12th from SEA at 2:50 pm. The winner will have a choice of return dates on Alaska Airlines (return flights are 5x a week Thursdays – Mondays).

Soul to Seoul Contest Rules and Regulations
Anyone who makes a new donation of $10 or more to Pike Place Market Foundation or sends a postcard with their contact information that is received between 6:00am PST August 10, 2025 to 11:59 pm PST August 17, 2025 is automatically entered into our Soul to Seoul contest for a trip for two from Seattle, Washington to Seoul, South Korea.
Only one entry per person and per email address will be entered into the contest during the promotional period.
Void where prohibited. No purchase or other consideration necessary to enter. The information obtained through your registration will not be sold or distributed in any way to a third party.
Contest Entry Period
6:00am PST August 10, 2025 to 11:59 pm PST August 17, 2025. Postcards delivered to Pike Place Market on Sunday, August 17, 2025 must be delivered to the Pike Place Market Foundation tent on Pike Place near Rachel the Piggy Bank between 9 am – 4 pm.
Contest Description
From the Soul of Seattle to Seoul, South Korea includes:
Airfare for two (2) from Seattle, WA (SEA-Seattle/Tacoma Intl.) to Seoul, Korea, Republic of (ICN-Seoul Incheon Intl.) valued at $3,500 per roundtrip ticket or $7,000 total.
All other expenses, including but not limited to meals, additional accommodation, travel insurance, incidental expenses, tips, transfers, and taxes will be the responsibility of the prize winners. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted. Prize is not redeemable for cash or exchange. Winner is responsible for obtaining and paying for visas, passports or other documents if required.
Eligibility
All contest entrants must be 18 years of age or older to enter and to be eligible to win. Void where prohibited. Employees of Pike Place Market Foundation and Alaska Airlines, plus their immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling and children, regardless of where they live) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees and directors are not eligible. Winner does not need to be present to win.
Notification
One (1) sweepstakes grand prize winner will be randomly selected by Pike Place Market Foundation and notified by phone and email by Tuesday, August 19, 2025. After notification, the contest winner must provide their full legal name, a signed W-9, and the name of their guest so that travel arrangements can be booked. The contest winner must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. Odds are determined by the number of entries. The name of the winner will be published after the prize has been claimed.
