The Giving Tree

Posted November 29, 2017

Our elves have been busy! There are three Giving Trees scattered throughout the Market – presenting the perfect opportunity for you to give back in a very tangible way this holiday season. Here is everything you need to know about the Giving Tree at Pike Place Market:

What is a Giving Tree?

The Giving Tree is a great ways for us to connect generous souls with people in need. Each tree is decorated with personalized tags that contain wishes from our low-income seniors, preschoolers, and residents. You pick a tag, purchase the present described on the back, and return it to the Market!

Where are the Giving Trees?

There are three Giving Trees in the Market. One is located in the Market Atrium, another in the Downunder and a third on the MarketFront! All you have to do is find a tree and choose a wish.

Where do I return my gift to?

Once you have purchased the gift listed on your tag you have two different options for returning it. You can either return it to The Market Commons (open Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm) or to DeLaurenti during business hours (open seven days a week). Please return your gift unwrapped and before Monday, December 18th!

If you can’t make it down to the Market you have two options for giving online! Click here to visit our Amazon wish-list and pick out the perfect gift there. Or you can always let us do the shopping – if that is your preference donate by clicking on the button below and we will take care of the rest.
