Sunset Supper raises $338,000 for seniors & families in Pike Place Market
Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, guests, and volunteers who supported the 20th annual Sunset Supper at Pike Place Market on Friday, August 14! We braved an unusually late-season thunderstorm and fortunately, the clouds parted at 7 PM, just in time for us to celebrate the Market’s 108th anniversary by sipping & savoring the Pacific Northwest’s bounty of incredible food, wine, brews and liquors too.
And, the results are even better: together, we raised $338,000 which benefits our mission to end hunger, care for the sick, educate kids and find homes for those without – all right here in Pike Place Market. Thank you for helping the Market you love remain a thriving, caring community. Learn more about our work.
Please join us in thanking and supporting the local vendors who donated their time and talents to this event: www.pikeplacemarketfoundation.org/sunset-supper-at-pike-place-market/vendors.
Special thanks to our volunteer team and the Pike Place Market facilities, security, and farm program staff who worked tirelessly to pull off this transformation of the Marketplace. We are so grateful for your support.
See all the fun captured in more photos on our Facebook page. Share your event photos with us too using #SunsetSupper @MktFoundation
And, mark your calendars for Sunset Supper 2016: Friday, August 12. See you next year!

Record-breaking summer in the Pike Place Urban Garden
Seattle’s warmest summer on record resulted in a challenging growing season for many of our Market farmers, but one micro-plot did flourish this summer. To date the Pike Place Urban Garden has produced & donated 330 pounds of veggies to the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank, almost 50 pounds more than last year. Thank you to our garden volunteers for feeding our community with healthy produce, grown right here in Pike Place Market!
