Pike Place Market Kitchen Updates 6/2-6/6

Posted June 4, 2014

The next Market Meal is right around the corner on 6/10. We need a couple extra volunteers on clean up this time- if you’ve enjoyed the lunch before please consider giving back. Don’t forget, each volunteer will leave with a bag of ingredients for the salad served at lunch!

  1. Prep Cook: Monday 6/09, 2-4pm NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! We have a blast chopping veggies and making sure the kitchen is ready to go.
  2. Lunch Chef: Tuesday 5/13, 10am-12:30pm. Help us cook a delicious meal for the market community. Everyone from seasoned chefs to beginners are welcome.
  3. Greeter: Tuesday 5/13, 11:30-1 we will need 2 volunteers to greet people and hand out surveys
  4. Clean Up Crew: Tuesday 5/13 (12:30-2) help clean up the kitchen and get the dishes done! The more we have, the faster it gets done.

Please contact Dana Gould if you’re interested in volunteering!

Here’s an idea of how much fun the Market Meals are! Check out these photos from May’s Meal in the Pike Place Market Atrium Kitchen:
