Non Profit Status

The Market Foundation was established in 1982 and is a private, non-profit corporation governed by a community board.

In our most recent audited fiscal year, 94% of our revenue came from individual and business donations while the remainder was earned income; we spent 4% on administration and 23% on fundraising, the remainder went to programs serving low-income people in the Market.

We currently employ 5 full-time staff.

Our tax status is 501c3.
