Month of Gratitude, Day 28: Dr. Randy Wong and the caring staff of Neighborcare Health at Pike Place Market.
For over 4 years, Dr. Randy Wong has walked the cobblestones to NeighborCare Health in Post Alley. Having recently been promoted to Medical Director, Dr. Wong makes sure that the clinic has all the right tools to specifically address any patient’s needs – even if it’s more than just their physical health.
“We have really comprehensive care here…we have two case managers, a psychiatric nurse practitioner that comes in once a week, a social worker to help patients apply for public benefits, and an eligibility specialist to help with insurance questions”
Even though he’s hard at work overseeing the clinic, he still makes time to personally care for his patients. It’s thanks to Dr. Wong that our dear friend and Pike Place Podcast host Jerry Antush is in good health!
“I just want to thank Randy – a couple of years ago, I was pretty sick and Randy got me through that. This is the guy that, in a way, brought the podcast to life!” says Jerry.
We’re so grateful that Dr. Wong loves what he does, and feels such a strong bond to the Pike Place Market community.
“We want to be a resource for our community and help people live healthier happier lives. We want people to have 100% access and zero disparities. Whatever issues folks may have, we have open doors for them.”
Thank you to Dr. Randy Wong and the whole NeighborCare Health team for helping improve the lives of thousands of our neighbors in and around the Market community.
