The holiday season is the perfect time to give back to our thriving, caring community. There are many different ways to give this holiday season, peruse our different opportunities below to find the one that is right for you.
After Black Friday and Cyber Monday there is Giving Tuesday, a great day for you to kick off your holiday giving. This global day of giving to nonprofits is fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, and takes place on November 28th, 2017. Plus, on Giving Tuesday your donation doubles thanks to the generosity of our Market Merchants! To join us for Giving Tuesday make sure you are following us on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and tune in on the 28th. ALSO, if you have a passion for social media join us for Giving Tuesday as a Giving Tuesday Champion: for more information email email@example.com.
Market Charms and Bronze Hoofprints
Charm your friends and family this holiday season with a gift they won’t forget. Market Charms and Bronze Hoofprints make the best presents for all the people (and pets) in your life. Not to mention your gift is also a donation to help support our thriving, caring community here at Pike Place Market. With a personal inscription and an incredible location at Pike Place Market this gift is unique, creative and meaningful. Donate for a Charm or Hoofprint BEFORE December 17th in order to receive a card in the mail by December 24th. Charms and Hoofprints are available until sold out but space is limited.
Make wishes come true this holiday season! The Giving Tree at Pike Place Market connects you with low-income seniors and families in need. To choose a wish come on down to the Market and find one of our three Giving Trees, located in the DownUnder, the Market Atrium and on the MarketFront. The process is simple, choose a tag, purchase the present listed on the back and then return the gift and the tag to either The Market Commons (open Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm) or DeLaurenti (open seven days a week).
A gift to the Market Foundation supports our thriving, caring community here at Pike Place Market. A $35 donation provides groceries for 10 families at the Pike Market Food Bank. Just $85 dollars funds 85 holiday meals for homeless seniors. You can support tuition assistance for low-income families at the Pike Market Preschool for $150. At the $560 level you cover the cost of healthcare for 28 patients at the Clinic. Or change someone’s life forever and help a homeless senior move into housing with a gift of $1000. No matter what level you are able to give at your holiday donation will bring vital social services to our most vulnerable neighbors.
